George Hunter was a young man, and father, from Tilery in Stockton.
Like many of the 1245 he enlisted in the Durham Light Infantry.
Like many of the 1245 he suffered and died near Ypres in 1916.
But George’s name did not appear in the town’s book of remembrance.
